Russell Hobbs 13775: Whats it all about?

russell-hobbs-13775The Russell Hobbs 13775 is another stylish addition to your kitchen! If you are looking for high tech performance combine with traditional design, then this is the jug kettle for you.

This new Russell Hobbs product is made in black so you know you’re getting a product which will never be out of style. But design isn’t its only advantage. It is built with a 3kW concealed element which makes it energy efficient and boils water quickly. Because the element is concealed, it also reduces the amount of limescale so you can clean the unit easily.

Russell Hobbs 13775 has 1.7 liter water capacity that’s about 10 cups of hot water in short order. It is easy to lift with and transport, thanks to its 360 degree rotational base and cordless kettle. Its handle is suited for both left and right handers. The spout also includes a removable anticalc filter for easy cleaning.

The kettle has huge on/off switch which is easy to handle and has automatic shut off function for safety. It has boil dry protection and its water level indicator is visible. However, some people might find it inconvenient since it is located behind the handle,
Several negative Russell Hobbs 13775 reviews cite the following disadvantages:
  • The unit does not have a boiling signal
  • It does not have a cool wall so you can get scalded if you don’t handle the product properly.
  • It does not allow different temperature settings.
  • The jug does not have a keep warm function so you’ll have to reheat the water
  • The product does not have a reboil function
  • There is no option to make tea on this product
  • This is not a travel kettle so it is a bit bulky
  • There is no water filter cartridge.
