Alessi GV09GR: a new look to a traditional design

alessi incaThe Alessi GV09GR is more commonly known as the Alessi Inca Coffee Press machine. Its design was borrowed from the traditional Inca coffee press of old – remolded and tweaked to fit the modern coffee aficionado. Designed by professional architect Guido Venturini, the coffee press is wrapped in the limbs of a slim, green figure that provides a stylized look to the machine, while simultaneously protecting the user from the scalding heat of fresh morning coffee.

The figure is topped with a green egg-shaped head which is adorned simply with 2 glass beads that pass as eyes. Besides these eyes, the protective figure is made from durable, thermoplastic, and heat-resistant resin – a popular choice of material for coffee machines everywhere for its toughness and other properties.

Also, the glass is heat and shatter resistant to ensure that you’re going to be enjoying coffee from the Alessi Inca Coffee Press for many years to come. Alessi ensures that the product is tough and durable, able to withstand continual and safe use – ready to serve your favorite coffee during your family breakfasts or meetings with your friends.

Despite its obviously avant-garde appearance, the Alessi GV09GR is absolutely simple to use –it operates just like any coffee press machine, with a couple of new innovations built in with the machine. Despite its modern appearance, its function and pressing style does stem from Incan tradition –a people known for their love affair with chocolates and coffee.

The Alessi Inca Coffee Press measures a comfortable 16 x 12 x 25 centimeters –easy to bring along vacations and trips, and even easier to store at home. It’s capacity boasts a maximum of 72 centiliters, which translates to 8 cups of coffee.

Most Alessi GV09GR reviews tell us that at the price of £37.70, this is a considerable steal for its value.
